The island
Nestled beside the water, the island is one of the most magical spaces at Water’s Edge. Framed by the lake and surrounded by natural beauty, this unique outdoor space offers a dreamy backdrop to exchange your vows or host a relaxed drinks reception, complete with seating for 180 guests and a large stretch tent.

Elegant, atmospheric, and full of traditional Cotswold charm, our indoor barn reception room offers the most idyllic setting for multiple moments of your day. The space can flow effortlessly from ceremony to wedding breakfast (with seating for up to 130 guests), before transforming once more for your evening celebrations.

The courtyard
With outdoor seating, a bar, BBQ space, festoon lighting, and plenty of covered areas, the courtyard is made for dining, drinks, and relaxing in the fresh air. Flowing directly from the main reception room with large bi-fold doors, you and up to 180 guests can move inside and out throughout the day.

The bar
Our bar is fully stocked with a hand-selected collection of top-quality wines, champagnes, beers, spirits, soft drinks, and cocktails to enjoy throughout your celebration. We can also use ingredients foraged from the estate to create distinctive seasonal drinks, bringing a little taste of Water’s Edge to every glass. We also have ‘The Hidden Bar’ where drinks for you’re reception are served from as well as Cocktail Hour drinks.

Beyond the venue, 25 acres of parkland, woodland, and countryside are yours to roam. From golden-hour waterside photographs to quiet woodland walks, the grounds offer endless opportunities to explore and enjoy at your leisure over two nights, both with and without your guests.

Tucked just off the main reception room, our break-out space is a useful and flexible area for all the little details that bring your day together. During your visit, Will will show you around the venue, talk through your ideas over a drink, and help you understand how your wedding could unfold here. He’ll be on hand throughout the process to make the journey feel exciting and special from the very beginning.

Yes. Every wedding at Water’s Edge is exclusive-use, so the venue and grounds are yours to enjoy for the entirety of your celebration. We take on a limited number of weddings each year, meaning your wedding will get our full attention.
We can seat up to 130 guests indoors for your ceremony and wedding breakfast. If you add our tent canopy, you can also welcome up to 180 for your evening party. The same 180-guest capacity applies if you choose to marry on our outdoor island.
Water’s Edge is fully set up for all weathers. Both the courtyard and the outdoor ceremony area sit under covered stretch tents. Our indoor ceremony room, complete with an open fire, is always ready as a backup if you need to quickly move indoors. The wet weather will never derail your plans at Water’s Edge.
Yes. You can tie the knot on our lakeside island, surrounded by the beautiful Cotswold countryside. It holds up to 180 guests and can be used throughout the seasons, with fire-style heaters available for the cooler months.
