We got married at Waters Edge in August 2023. A stunning venue that provided us with the intimate outdoor experience we were looking for. Alex, Emma and Steve took time to listen and work with our suppliers to create a truly memorable experience for all fifty of our guests. If you are thinking about booking Waters Edge, don’t hesitate, you will not regret it!

Water’s Edge was the most beautiful setting for our wedding. It looked stunning and all our guests commented on its beauty. Emma and Steve were fantastic throughout all the planning, showing a level of understanding and personal touch that meant so much to us. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Incredible wedding venue! Water’s Edge hosted our wedding in July 2023. From viewing the venue to the ceremony itself, Steve, Emma and Alex (the team behind the venue) were fantastic. They went out of their way to make our day extra special and they could not have been more friendly and helpful. The leafy lakeside location made for a beautiful setting for our ceremony and drinks reception. The food was exceptional, with many guests complimenting the chef in the live kitchen. The courtyard area with festoon lighting, fire pits and garden games makes for a lovely area for people to mingle. Our guests were seriously impressed. We are thrilled that we chose Water’s Edge for our wedding venue and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

Not only do you have the most beautiful garden and setting for a party, especially when the sun shines, but you make holding an event at Water’s Edge so easy for your clients. Nothing is too much trouble for you, you are always there, indiscreetly, making sure everything works. I cannot tell you how much we appreciated everything you did.

From the moment we first visited The Water’s Edge, we knew it was something truly special – and after celebrating our wedding there, we’re even more certain it was the perfect choice. The converted barn is absolutely stunning, with so much character and charm. The setting is peaceful, picturesque, and felt completely tucked away – the perfect escape to celebrate such a meaningful moment in our lives. We had access from Friday midday through to early Sunday morning, which gave us just the right amount of time to settle in, enjoy the space, and create some unforgettable memories with our closest friends and family. The barn itself is beautifully finished – stylish, warm, and thoughtfully designed throughout. It offered the ideal flow for our celebrations, from getting ready to welcoming our guests, and it gave us a lovely balance of open, social areas and quiet, cosy corners. We also want to give a huge thank you to Will and Alex, who were just incredible – not only on the day itself but throughout the entire lead-up to the wedding. They were always responsive, kind, and genuinely invested in helping make our day as special as possible. Their support made such a difference, and it meant the world to us to feel so looked after and in such capable hands. Our guests were blown away by the venue and haven’t stopped talking about how magical it was. From the surroundings to the little details throughout the venue, it really was everything we hoped for and more. We had our wedding here in mid April. It was the most perfect day. The venue were very organised ahead of the event and we’re very helpful during. If anything needed doing it was done straight away without any question or worries. They could relieve so much stress because they made things very easy. The food was Delightful, we were able to choose our own menu. The chef went above and beyond. The most beautiful day would highly recommend to anyone. The most beautiful venue we visited by a long stretch.

Amazing venue, as a guest I had a wonderful experience, everything was perfect, everyone had great time and enjoyed themselves The way venue is set up and the food is wonderful. Absolutely great.

The team at Water’s Edge made our wedding reception! From start to finish they were incredibly accommodating, very helpful and just a pleasure to work with. The facilities at the venue are superb – from the bridal suite to the bar, the function room and the courtyard; the venue is just beautiful!!!

We got lots of positive comments from our guests about the food and drinks served, especially from those who had dietary requirements who noted how well they were accommodated for. We got married in September 2023 at Watersedge and honestly we couldn’t have asked for a better team to look after us and our guests. From our first visit to the venue on a cold frosty morning in January, a warm welcome from Steve and Emma made us feel very relaxed and welcome and the venue is so gorgeous all year round that sold itself. We fell in love with both the venue and the team and knew that they would make every little detail possible. They were in touch with us regularly and helped us put together a detailed iteniary to ensure our day ran smoothly, nothing was ever too much and above all it was all done with a loving and caring touch. Alex and Rachel who ran the show on our Big day were incredible, who needs wedding planners when your venue has them.

All our guests could not stop complementing us on how great our venue choice was and how lovely the team had been. The food was lovely, considering we had a large mix of vegetarians and meat eaters, it went down really well with both.

Finally the accommodation, I spent the night before my wedding there with my bridal party, the rooms were super spacious and the relaxing, I have not appreciated a late night calming bath ever before, the attention to detail, comfy beds, beautiful bathrooms and the lovely breakfast in the morning was better than some of the 5 star hotels we stayed in. Steve and Emma have built something really special in here at waters edge with their family and lovely team, it was an honour to be able to have shared our special day with them.

Fantastic new purpose built venue 

The staff at Water’s Edge are absolutely wonderful. They were able to accommodate every need and requirement that we had and remained professional and polite throughout our time of booking all the way up to the big day.

They kept the day running to schedule and made sure everyone was catered for.

The venue is absolutely stunning and all our guests said what a perfect day it was. We couldn’t have wished for more!
